Fees and funding
Our fees
Each visit includes time for clinical notes, so the fee covers the visit and the notes together.
Which fees apply to me?
Answer two questions and we will point you to the right part of this page. The full fee table is underneath either way.
| Appointment | What’s included | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Initial assessment | 60-minute visit + 30 minutes of notes and planning | $275.99 |
| Follow-up visit | 45-minute visit + 15 minutes of notes | $183.99 |
| Reports and letters | Charged by the hour | $183.99 per hour |
These fees are the same whether you are funded by the NDIS or paying privately. They are set at the NDIS price limit for physiotherapy, $183.99 an hour for 2026–27. WorkCover Queensland works differently, and is covered further down this page.
Travel: because we come to you, a travel fee may apply depending on where you are. We’ll tell you the exact amount before your first visit, and it won’t change without notice.
NDIS
- We see self-managed and plan-managed participants (not NDIA-managed).
- Initial assessment $275.99, follow-up $183.99, reports $183.99 an hour: the NDIS price limit.
- Provider travel is charged as the NDIS allows: travel time at the reduced NDIS rate (up to 30 minutes each way on the Gold Coast) and up to $0.99 per km, each shown as a separate line on the invoice. If we see more than one participant on the same trip, travel is shared between them, as the NDIS requires.
- Everything is set out in a written service agreement before the first visit. Plan-managed: we invoice your plan manager directly, and there’s nothing to pay out of pocket.
WorkCover Queensland
WorkCover pays us directly for approved treatment, at WorkCover’s set fees. There’s no gap and nothing to pay on the day. WorkCover visits are around 30 minutes, including notes. Reports requested by WorkCover are billed to WorkCover.
Private health insurance
Pay on the day and we’ll give you a receipt to claim from your health fund. Your rebate depends on your fund and level of extras cover.
The draft said “on-the-spot claiming is coming soon”. On-the-spot claiming needs Shreya to register with the health funds through Splose or Tyro Health first, so we’ve left the sentence off for now. Add it back only once that registration is actually under way.
Cancellations
We ask for 2 clear business days’ notice to cancel or change a visit. For example, to cancel a Monday visit, let us know by the end of the previous Wednesday.
Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged up to the full fee. The details are in your service agreement or booking confirmation. We understand that illness and emergencies happen, so please talk to us.
- Verify the current NDIS short-notice cancellation rule in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
- Check WorkCover Queensland’s rules on missed appointments; don’t charge an injured worker unless WorkCover allows it.
Paying
- Private clients: pay by card at the end of the visit.
- NDIS: we send an invoice. Plan-managed participants pay nothing out of pocket; we invoice the plan manager directly.
- WorkCover Queensland: we invoice WorkCover directly for approved treatment, so there is nothing to pay on the day.
Physiotherapy is GST-free.
